The Skelmanthorpe Brass Band Community organisation has received funding to carry out a substantial extension and refurbishment to their rehearsal facilities, as well being able to purchase a complete new set of instruments.

Handy

The building work has now been completed and is now being utilised to their full potential, with the band itself now boasting over 100 playing members — so the instruments have certainly come in handy!

Opening

The official opening ceremony will take place on Sunday 15th June at 4.00pm where all supporters and players are welcome to come along and enjoy the occasion.
