The Lindley Band has informed 4BR that they are delighted to announce the appointment of Jessica Tredrea as their new Musical Director.

The talented Cornish musician takes over the post following the resignation of Chris Lewis who had to step down from the role due to increased work commitments.

A spokesperson told 4BR: "Jessica was selected by band members and took her first rehearsal this week. She is a very accomplished musician, demonstrating capabilities beyond her young age.

Band members certainly appreciate her thorough professional approach and sense of humour!"

First appearance

Jessica’s first contest appearance with the band will be at the Whit Friday contests in June as well as at the Hebden Bridge march contest that follows.
