The Johnstone Band has announced the appointment of Martyn Ramsay as their new Musical Director.

A Band spokesperson told 4BR: "Martyn is looking forward to working with us for upcoming engagements and to building on concert and contest repertoire.

We are delighted that Martyn joins our venture at this exciting time and following our recent move to new bandhall premises."
