East Yorkshire Motor Services’s principal cornet player Neil Day has made a commitment for life just a week ahead of appearing with the band at the all important Grand Shield contest in Blackpool.
Bold
Neil (left) married his fiancé Tracey Marsh at the All Saints Church, Sherburn In Elmet, Leeds last week, and set the tone for married life, every bit as bold as his own cornet sound, by delaying the date of their honeymoon by a few days to make sure he could appear at the Winter Gardens.
With the contest out of the way (and hopefully with a successful result) the couple will head off for their honeymoon.

Thanks
The couple took the opportunity to thank Alan Morrison for his impeccable solo playing during the church service along with the EYMS Quintet for their wonderful playing both in the church and at the wedding reception.
