Small is big appointment at Burbage

Christopher Small has been appointment MD at the Burbage Band.

The Burbage Band has announced the appointment of their new MD, Christopher Small.

The 24 year old is a euphonium graduate from the Birmingham Conservatoire and the principal euphonium player of current Midlands First Section Champion, Enderby.

Delighted

Chris told 4BR: "I’m delighted at the appointment. Having gained conducting guidance at the Conservatoire from Ian Porthouse, and having conducted the Malvern Hills Band in the same section, this is an opportunity I couldn't pass by.
