No more Hoovering for Halliwell

After five successful years at the helm, Trevor Halliwell has stepped down from his role as MD of the Bolton Hoover Band.

4BR has been informed that Trevor Halliwell has announced his resignation from his role as Musical Director with the Bolton Hoover Band.

Highly successful

The conductor has been associated with the band for the last five years, a period which has proven highly successful both on the concert and contest stage.

Trevor told 4BR: "During my tenure I have made some very good friends and the band has been promoted from the Third to the First Section – something I am very proud to have helped. I sincerely wish the band all the very best."

CLEETHORPES BAND CIO

April 3 • We have vacancies for a trombone player and a bass player. Cleethorpes Band rehearse near the seafront on Thursday and Sunday evenings. Placed 3rd in the NOE 4th section. Other players are always welcome as we may be able to switch positions around
