The European Youth Brass Band will be making its debut appearance this year in a joint concert with one of Scotland’s newest bands.

Highland Brass will host the cream of Europe’s finest young brass and percussion players at Culloden Academy on 30th April commencing 7.30pm, as part of the exciting side events to this year’s European Festival of Brass.

First chance

Directed by Russell Gray, the concert will give the brass band lovers of Scotland the first chance to hear the band in action — and all alongside the vibrant Highland Brass who were only founded in August 2013.

Since its inception the band has grown in quantity and quality and has already given a number of successful concerts, has taken part in the STV appeal in Falcon Square, played in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care and in March made their contest debut at the Scottish Championships in Perth.
