Sponsor extends line for Brass Factor

The innovative brass band entertainment contest has teamed up once more with main sponsor Grand Central.

Brass Factor

Train operator Grand Central is to sponsor the innovative Brass Factor entertainment contest.

Platinum sponsor

After last year’s sell out concert in Harrogate, the company was keen to continue to support the competition which brings the traditional brass genre to a new audience and has since been conformed as the event’s ‘Platinum Sponsor’ at the popular Holmfirth venue, plus a soon to be announced new location.

Sean English, General Manager at Grand Central told 4BR: "We are delighted to announce that we will be sponsoring Brass Factor for a second year running. Grand Central is committed to supporting local communities within Yorkshire and the North East and this is a great initiative that encompasses the tradition of brass bands in the region while demonstrating modern talents."

Fantastic

Alex Bray, founder of Brass Factor added: "I’m delighted to be aligned with a fantastic company who's ethics represent the same values of Brass Factor. It’s a privilege to work with them and great to see them to continue to support the competition."

Sell out audiences

In its fourth year, Brass Factor has gone from strength to strength giving more than 20 bands a platform to show off and perform to sell out audiences.

Raising the profile of brass bands across the area and providing junior bands with a platform to truly showcase their talent, the Brass Factor has been a huge success since it started in 2010.
