Bunbury offer composer reward

The Bunbury Band from Western Australia is looking for composers to write in celebration.

The Bunbury City Band in partnership with the Royal Agricultural Society of Western Australia Brass has invited entries from composers to write a new work to help celebrate the 110th anniversary of the formation of the band and the centenary of it location to the famous Queen’s Gardens.

Winning entry

The winning entry of a work aimed from Youth to Second Section (UK level) of around 8 minutes duration will receive a $1,000 prize and have the piece performed in concert by the Championship Section RASWA Band at the prestigious Queen’s Cup Competition on 30th August.
