Denton Brass has announced the appointment of Matt Bailey as their new Musical Director with immediate effect.

Matt joins the band after serving as resident conductor at Besses o' th' Barn Band for many years.

Band Chairman Paul Keogh told 4BR: "I have known Matt for many years. He has helped the band out many times in the past but was never quite ready to take the plunge and take the responsibility of being our MD until now."
