Dyke set for Prestige weekend

English National Champion to provide double header of concert entertainment as Prestige Promotions announces new band.

Black Dyke

Prestige Promotions has exclusively announced to 4BR that they will be supporting a ‘double header’ Black Dyke concert series this weekend.

Weekend entertainment

Following on from the huge success enjoyed with the English National champion in February, Prestige Promotions will promote the band on Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th April in two high profile concerts in Guildford and Broxbourne.

Guildford Cathedral

Black Dyke will perform at the wonderful Guildford Cathedral on Saturday 5th April at 7:30pm and at Broxbourne Civic Hall on Sunday 6th April in a special afternoon concert starting at 3.00pm.
Guildford

Saturday’s concert will see the band help raise funds for the local Guildford charity ‘The David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation’, at an event that will also see the launch of ‘The Prestige Promotions Band’ directed by principal conductor Julian Bright.

New band support

The band will support Black Dyke with a 22 minute slot at the beginning of the concert and also play alongside them in massed items at the end of the event.

Broxbourne

The following day there will be the chance to hear Black Dyke in action once more, as they move on to Broxbourne Civic Hall where they will perform a matinee concert at 3.00pm in the afternoon.
