Two stalwarts of the North East brass banding movement were recently presented with certificates and trophies to mark their outstanding service by the Durham County Brass Band Association.

Valued

George Bramfitt and Mavis Lloyd have been valued active members of the Durham Brass Band Association for many years, with George a highly respected President and former Chairman, who has also represented DCBBA on the committees of the North of England Regional Championships and British Federation of Brass Bands.

Mavis is currently the highly valued secretary of DCBBA and registrar for the North of England Regional Championships.
