4BR has been informed of the death of Ivor Barnett, one of the most popular and respected conductors and musicians of Welsh banding, who died suddenly on Thursday 13th March.

Career

Ivor started his musical career in Lydbrook and was involved with many bands as a player and conductor throughout his musical life.
