4BR has been informed of the passing of Ken Nevin. He was aged 87.

Ken played bass for several Manchester bands during his career, the highlight probably coming when he was part of the Cheetham Hill Band when they won the National Championship of Great Britain Second Section in 1966 playing ‘The Moor of Venice’.

Ken’s funeral took place recently at Hollinwood Crematorium.
