Grimethorpe open up on St Magnus

If you want to find out how Grimey are doing on St Magnus, now's your chance — but be early!

Grimethorpe Colliery Band will be opening their rehearsal doors to fans ahead of their St George’s Hall, Yorkshire Area Championship appearance on the weekend.

Under the baton of Director of Music Dr Robert Childs they will showcase the final touches of preparation on Kenneth Downie’s set work, ‘St Magnus’, ahead of Sunday’s all important battle to claim a place at the Royal Albert Hall in October.

Time and place

Please be early if you want to get a seat on Thursday 27th February at Shafton ALC, Engine Lane, Shafton, Barnsley S72 8RE.

Doors open at 7.00pm for a prompt 7.15pm start.
