New bone found in Bodmin

The Bodmin Band welcomes a brand new bass trombone player ahead of their Second Section challenge in Torquay.

Bodmin Town Band has announced the signing of bass trombone player Andy Ellis as they complete their line up of personnel ahead of their Second Section Area challenge in Torquay.

Relocated

Andy recently relocated to the area from the North West, where he played for the Championship Section Freckleton Band.

"We are delighted to welcome a player of Andy’s calibre," said Bodmin MD John Maines. "He comes with a wealth of experience and we to welcome him to the fold."

Rebuilt

Chairman Ryun Retallack added: "Bodmin has rebuilt itself over the past three years and whilst 2013 saw a period of strengthening culminating in our appearance at Cheltenham, Andy is in fact our only new signing for the 2014 Area."
