Patron success for Foden's

Foden's latest CD release aids growing Patron's support.

Fodens in action

Foden's recently held their annual 'Patrons Concert' where a capacity audience of over 500 supporters enjoyed a wonderful evening of entertainment.

Reception

The event was preceded by a special VIP reception where Foden’s business and organisation partners mingled with representatives from Sandbach Council and Cheshire East, as well as local MP's, dignitaries, Vice-Presidents and special guests.

Proactive

Foden’s Band Manager Mark Wilkinson told 4BR that the event showed that the band’s proactive approach to developing ties with the business and cultural community in Cheshire is paying increasing dividends.

"The concert is always a highlight of the Foden’s calendar and gives us the opportunity to thank our large patron following for their continued support.

The band has strong links with the community so it is appropriate that representatives from the community as well as our various partners were invited to our VIP reception where they were thanked for their continued support."

Latest release

The programme for the concert was taken from the band’s latest release, 'Patrons Choice VII' which was dedicated to Vice President Stephen Sebire MBE who was presented with a framed CD.

A collection was also made on the night on behalf of the Huddersfield Marathon Band with Foden's also making a donation to support the Charity 'Sense.'

Prior to the concert, band members voted for their 'Player of the Year' as well as 'Bands person of the Year', later presented to Lesley Poole and Joe Murtagh.
