Cornerstone Brass has welcomed composer Adam Fripp into its musical
fold.

Adam, who began his training in composition with tuition from composers Kenneth Downie and Philip Wilby went on to study music at the University of Huddersfield, majoring in composition.
He has also had his works performed, recorded and utilised in workshops by soloists as well as various ensembles including the Goldberg Ensemble and International Staff Band of the Salvation Army, in venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and Bridgewater Hall.

A spokesperson for Cornerstone Brass told 4BR: "We are delighted that Adam has accepted this position with the band. He is a remarkable musician who plays a variety of instruments to an extremely high level and his compositions are equally as impressive.
Adam has learnt the fine art of composition from two of best and already I am looking forward to seeing what he has to offer us."
