South Milford Brass has announced that Dave Smith has accepted the role of interim Musical Director to take them to the North of England Area Championship in Darlington.
Pending role
The Tewit Youth Band conductor and Black Dyke cornet player will take on the role pending the appointment of a permanent MD.
A band spokesperson told 4BR: "We would like to extend a warm welcome to Dave. The band is looking forward to working with him."
