4BR has launched its latest innovative way of reporting on all that goes on in the world of banding.
4BR Supplement
‘4BR Supplement’ is a 30 minute on-line programme that sees Editor Iwan Fox joined by regular contributor Chris Thomas and guests to discuss the latest brass band issues and news.
The first programme includes a feature interview with Dr Robert Childs following his appointment as Musical Director at Grimethorpe Colliery Band, as well as Paul Holland talking about the recent successes of the Flowers Band and Captain Paul Collis-Smith giving an insight into why the British Army is setting up three professional brass bands in the UK.
Virtuoso
To round the programme off there is virtuoso performance from David Childs, given with with his kind permission from ‘A Masterclass in Brass’ DVD from World of Brass — the ‘Troika Tidy!’ from the Karl Jenkins ‘Euphonium Concerto’.
