Foden's set to deliver free coaching

A fantastic day of top class brass band tuition is up for grabs with Foden's — and its free!

Principal players from Foden's Band under conductor David Hirst will hold be holding a free training day at the Henry Fanshaw School in Dronfield on 22nd March.

Grade 4 and above

The event in partnership with North East Derbyshire District Council is open to musicians of Grade 4 standard and above, up to the age of 25, and will see delegates work in full and sectional rehearsals prior to a public concert featuring Foden’s star cornet player Mark Wilkinson.

In addition, dinner will be provided, there will be a chance to question the Foden’s players to pick their brains to gain extra tips, and you get the opportunity to enjoy them in a short concert performance.

So if you want to get a free chance to work with the likes of Mark Wilkinson, Helen Williams, Shaun Farrington, Mark Landon and Glyn Williams and have a great time too, then make sure you get in contact:

In addition, the day will also feature a Junior Brass Player & Percussion event for players up to the age of 25, led by Mark Bousie.

Aimed at players up to Grade 4 standard, the day is aimed at improving individual and ensemble skills by rehearsing and performing a wide range of repertoire.
