After an excellent start to 2014, the St Dennis Band has captured the signing of one of the most experienced percussion players in the business.

Dyke, Brighouse & Grimethorpe

Mark Arnold joins the band's percussion team, bringing with him a wealth of experience with regard to Championship Section banding.

Mark has been a member of many of the countries top bands — such as Black Dyke, Brighouse & Rastrick, Carlton Main Frickley Colliery, Yorkshire Imperial Metals and Grimethorpe, where he spent 14 successful years.

This quality addition for the West of England Regional Championships is yet another welcome boost after such a great start to 2014MD, Darren Hawken

Delighted

MD Darren Hawken told 4BR: "We are delighted that we've acquired the services of an absolutely tremendous percussionist.

This quality addition for the West of England Regional Championships is yet another welcome boost after such a great start to 2014.

The hard work, commitment and ambition to take this band to a new level is clearly evident to see. On behalf of the St Dennis Band, I would like to welcome Mark to the ranks."
