Trinity Girls Band has informed 4BR that MD Stuart Barton has resigned from the band due to personal reasons with immediate effect.

Sorely missed

A spokesperson told 4BR: "The band would like to publicly acknowledge and thank Stuart for his dedication and hard work over the years. He will be sorely missed.

Although extremely disappointed at Stuart’s departure, the band remains committed to filling their current vacancies and working towards competing at the areas in March."

Success

Trinity Girls enjoyed many contesting successes during the 10 years that Stuart was at the helm, including being crowned Fourth Section North West Regional Champions in 2003 and again in 2005 in the Third Section.

In 2012 they claimed a podium finish at the Third Section National Finals.
