Marshall set for new cornet spotlight

Richard Marshall is getting ready to lead his fifth cornet spotlight in Leeds in March.

Black Dyke principal cornet Richard Marshall has announced details of his fifth Cornet Spotlight Masterclass Day.

The event will take place on Sunday 23rd March at Leeds Town Hall, where delegates will enjoy plenty of challenges and some great music making – and all for a fiver!

9.00am: Registration
9.30am: Massed warm up
10.00am: Rehearsal on ‘Suite for Six Trumpets’ by Anthony Plog
10.45am: Break
11.00am: Q & A session with Kirsty Abbotts
11.45am: Final performance of Suite for Six Trumpets.
