Across the valleys

Local talent
Band Chairman Graham Howe told 4BR: "We are excited about the whole event and we have also engaged some talented, local adjudicators.
It is an ideal opportunity for youth bands, players and ensembles the chance to show their talents to a wider audience – and it’s not too late to enter!"
The ethos of the day is to allow budding and developing brass players of all ages the opportunity to demonstrate their talent in front of an appreciative audienceChairman, Graham Howe
Ethos
He added: "The ethos of the day is to allow budding and developing brass players of all ages the opportunity to demonstrate their talent in front of an appreciative audience, so although there are some guidelines, there are no rules or timing of performances.
We're looking to give the young brass players a stage and an appreciative audience to perform to."
