Advert: Geneva Instruments

Star cornet player James Fountain opts for Geneva — and starts on a real high.

Geneva Instruments

Geneva Musical Instruments is proud to announce cornet star James Fountain as the latest addition to their ever growing impressive list of endorsees.

Talented

Regarded as one of the country’s most talented young brass performers, James is currently studying at the Guildhall in London, and will endorse the Geneva Symphony cornet.

The Virtuosi GUS player recently finished his tenure as principal cornet of the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain and in the last few weeks won the prestigious 4Barsrest ‘Best Soloist’ award at the Scottish Open Championship — playing on his new Geneva Symphony Cornet.

Joy to play

"I’m very happy to become Geneva’s latest endorsee," he said.

"I have tried Geneva cornets before, but the latest Symphony Cornet is simply a joy to play. It is so easy in the upper register — just as well with the high C# in ‘Contest Music’ at the Scottish Open!"

It was a wonderful way to start with Geneva – and showed that I had made the right choice with this world class instrumentJames Fountain

Right choice

James added: "It was a wonderful way to start with Geneva – and showed that I had made the right choice with this world class instrument."
