Broxburn & Livingston has announced the appointment of Paul Stone as their new Musical Director.
Experience
A former principal euphonium player of the West Lothian Schools Band, Paul later attended the Royal Scottish Academy of Music, where he was awarded the Countess of Munster Musical Scholarship, the Barcapel Music Award, the Robert McCreath Memorial Prize and the Governors Recital Prize.
Varied musical experience
He has since enjoyed a wide and varied musical career encompassing performances with many leading professional orchestras as well as being a member of P&O Cruise orchestras, where he worked with artists such as Iris Williams, Gerrard Kenny, Alan Stuart and Claire Sweeney.
He also maintains a busy performing career as both a freelance musician and a member of Alba Brass.
