The Reg Vardy Band will be opening its doors to welcome visitors for an open rehearsal of the Scottish Open test piece, 'Contest Music', by Wilfred Heaton.
Gray enjoyment
The band has enjoyed the last two weeks working on the piece with Grand Shield winning conductor, Mareika Gray, and welcomes James Fountain to add the finishing touches on principal cornet, prior to travelling to Perth on Saturday 23rd November for its first visit to the Scottish Open event.

The open rehearsal will be held from 7.30pm-9.30pm on Thursday 21st November, at the bandroom — the old Salvation Army Hall, View Lane, Stanley, Co Durham DH9 0DX.
