BBC Young Brass Award 2014

Following on from the recent announcement that BBC Radio 2 had launched their search for the next young brass star, potential candidates are reminded they have just a couple of weeks to get their entries in if they wish to try and claim the 2014 title.

Crowned

Speaking during the recent Brass in Concert Gala Concert on Saturday evening, Frank Renton briefly donned his BBC cap to reveal that next year's winner will be crowned on Friday 28th March, live on Radio 2 where the broadcast will replace the iconic 'Friday Night is Music Night'.

Frank also reminded those wishing to challenge for the title, they have to do so by getting their entry forms in by Friday 6th December.
