Following its launch in 2010, the CD ‘Whatever it Takes’, which flugel star John Lee recorded with the charity brass band, Boobs & Brass, has reached over a staggering £20,000 in sales.

Celebrated

John recently celebrated the news with conductor Richard Evans at a recent Unite the Union rehearsal. Richard was the guest conductor on the recording.

John told 4BR: "The generosity of the public has been astounding.

To think that the album has been purchased on almost every continent is testament to the outstanding work that Maggie, Jane and the girls at Boobs & Brass have done in helping a fantastic charitable cause."
