Anna leads confidence boost in Wales

Foden's cornet player leads Deiniolen youth in contest preparation.

The Deiniolen Youth Band recently enjoyed a confidence boosting masterclass from St Helens Youth conductor and Foden’s cornet player Anna Hughes — Williams (top left).

Contest

The event formed part of the band’s preparation for the annual North Wales Brass Band Championships at the Venue Cymru, Llandudno on the 2nd of November.

With help and assistance from members of the senior Deiniolen Band and MD Lois Eifion, the day started at 10.00am and was packed with activity.

Deiniolen Youth Band MD, Osian Tomos told 4BR: "It was great to welcome Anna to Deiniolen again and the band thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

This masterclass is part of our preparation for the Championship which we won last year, and this year the band will be competing in the 6A category.

Anna was fantastic and we look forward to welcoming her back in the very near future."
