Conductor Jonathan Corry, Bandmaster of Enfield Citadel has been working in Switzerland with the CMVS (Christian Music Association of Switzerland) Staff Band for the past few weeks in preparation for two annual gala concerts later this month.

Musicians

The CMVS staff band is a composite band made up of Christian musicians throughout Switzerland, many of whom play for bands such as the Wallberg and Brass Band Berneroberland.

The band has recently released a CD entitled 'Hearts on Fire' featuring many new brass band works and gospel arrangements.

Early starts

Jonathan Corry has been waking up early for the past few Saturdays to lead intensive rehearsal days in Switzerland and returning back in time in London for morning services.

This weekend in particular is a busy one as he will will lead Enfield Citadel Band on Friday evening at the Royal College of Music, fly to Switzerland on Saturday and return in time for the Sunday morning service at Enfield Citadel.
