The Foss Dyke Band has announced the launch of a new brass band within their organisation under the baton of soprano player, Simon Oates.

Witham Brass was established in June this year and has quickly increased in membership to 18 regular players rehearsing in Foss Dyke’s bandroom every Monday at 7.00pm in the village of Waddington, Lincolnshire.

Good mix

Simon told 4BR: "We have a good mix of players at various stages of their banding careers, some passing on their experience and others absorbing the experience helping them to become better players.
