The National Association of Brass Band Conductors has unveiled the programme for the third of its successful conducting initiatives.
Popular
The well received events have proved to be immensely popular and the third masterclass led by Russell Gray will be held on Saturday 19th October at The Coopers' Company and Coburn School, St Mary's Lane, Upminster, Essex, RM14 3HS.
The NABBC President will be supported by the experienced team of Andrew White, Melvin White and Martin Obermuller.
They in turn will be supported by other experienced directors and adjudicators from the NABBC who will assist and nurture the talents of the new conductors.
Champion support
Recently crowned Wychavon champions, Aveley & Newham has been engaged to form the main performance nucleus for the event, but brass musicians who wish to participate are also invited to attend and assist.
Registration will be at 9.30am and participants should note that the entire day will be based upon a variety of practical experiences including an opportunity to learn and perform a new item by composer Paul Lovatt-Copper.
The event will conclude at 4.00pm.

The total cost is £25 for non-members but free for existing NABBC members (£20 per person if eight or more instrumentalists come from the same band).
