Littleport set for Peacock remembrance

Littleport Brass will remember a great banding servant and help a fine charitable cause with a little help from Virtuosi GUS.

Littleport Brass

First Section Littleport Brass, based in Cambridgeshire, is hoping to raise much needed funds for Amyloidosis Research later this month with a concert featuring the Virtuosi GUS Band.

Loved

One of the band’s most loved and longest serving members, Howard Peacock, passed away last year through the illness, but continued to play with the band until the last few months of his life.

As a result, and acting on the wishes of the family led by his widow Sue, who still pays in the band, the concert has been arranged to raise funds to increase research and awareness into the illness.
