The Coventry Festival Band has been rebuilding towards the future with some new signings.

Signings

19 year old Sarah Stock joins on solo cornet with Heidi Dyer coming in on the horn section.

Sarah has many years experience playing with the Salvation Army, and is currently undertaking a Music Performance Degree at Coventry University. Meanwhile, Heidi joins from finishing her last year at the National Youth Band of Great Britain and playing in the European Youth Brass Band.

Man O' Brass

Mervyn Jones comes in on solo baritone following a long break from banding. He was a former member of the GUS Band and Harry Mortimer’s Men ‘O Brass. The new signings are completed by Chris England on solo cornet and Kim Sumner on trombone.
