Once again we had a great response to our British Open Quiz, with each of the competing bands getting plenty of pre-results support.

However, it was Tredegar who came out on top, and that was the choice of Geoff Wood, principal cornet of the Ratby Band amongst others — many of whom put their vote in after the Welsh band played at Symphony Hall, who was picked out of the hat.

He now gets the chance to see the utterly brilliant Mnozil Brass in concert in Cardiff at the Arcomis International Brass Event on Friday 11th October, plus watch and listen to them with their brilliant DVD’s ‘Blofeld’, ‘Magic Moments’ and ‘Irmingaard’, and their CD’s ‘Almrausch’, ‘Ragazzi’ and ‘Smoke Live’.
