Sterling Musical Instruments are sponsoring a concert by Kirkintilloch Kelvin Brass at the Bathgate Academy, West Lothian, on Saturday 26th October at 7.00pm.

Sterling artist

The event will feature Sterling virtuoso artist Robbert Vos, the renowned euphonium player of Dutch National Champion Brass Band Schoonhoven.

Robbert will be leading a Baritone & Euphonium workshop from 2.30pm in Bathgate Academy for all players who have a minimum of 2 years playing experience.

The workshop is free to participants and observers.

Premieres

The concert will feature two euphonium premieres by composers Alexander Comitas and Nigel Clarke, combined with existing euphonium repertoire and full-band numbers.

Bonus

As an added bonus the event will also feature Bathgate Academy Wind Band, conducted by Jennifer Fox, featuring tuba soloist Grant Holden.
