Successful Ruel begins at Haslemere

There has been an impressive start to a new Ruel at Haslemere Town Band.

Haslemere Town Band

Haslemere Town Band has been enjoying a busy and productive Summer under the baton of new MD David Ruel.

Challenging Brass

With popular concerts in Guildford, Farnham, Albury, Eastbourne and Hindhead behind them, the band is now looking forward to an appearance in ‘Challenging Brass’ – a four band entertainment contest in Addlestone in October, where they will be up against local rivals Watford, Liss and Staines Lammas Bands.

Looking forward

MD David Ruel is certainly looking forward to the forthcoming events.

"I believe we have made great progress over the last few months, with a committed and enthusiastic team of players.

Now we have the contest and a great annual concert featuring the talented Daniel Thomas of Tredegar Band as our guest soloist to look forward to, so I’m sure all the hard work will pay off in fine style."
