Just a year after flying from Gatwick to Charlotte to play nine sell-out concerts in North and South Carolina, the 50-strong Smithills School Senior Band under MD Chris Wormald have confirmed that they will return to the USA in 2014 for a fifth concert tour in just 14 years.
Tour
The band will fly from Heathrow to Raleigh-Durham in July for a tour organised by Lester Morris and Jeff Patterson, and will perform in eight concerts, beginning in Raleigh on July 16th.
Following on from their recent success at Disneyland Paris tickets have already gone on sale — over a year in advance of their first appearance.

Huge audiences
Chris told 4BR: "Our amazing American hosts have never failed to guarantee huge audiences for all 34 concerts over the four previous tours, but this time they want to sell out months before we go and send us ticket money in advance to put towards our £60,000 tour costs."
