The Prairie Brass Band from Arlington Heights in Illinois has announced that the recipient of their ‘Brass Person of Year Award’, known as the ‘PBOY’, has been awarded to Joe Gaylord for his exemplary dedication, service, attitude and musicianship.

Prominent

A retired music educator and school administrator, Joe has been a prominent member of the front row cornet section for the past 15 years, as well as serving on the board of directors of the band.
