Steve will now join horn star Owen Farr and trombonist Davur Juul Magnussen on the recording which will see them accompanied by the Scottish Open Champion, Co-operative Funeralcare Band.

Venue

The Royal Scottish National Orchestra’s rehearsal and recording base, Henry Wood Hall in Glasgow, will be the venue for the recording.

On board

Organiser and conductor of the project, John Ward told 4BR: "It’s great to have Steve on board with the project. He’s a great player.

There is also the fantastic news about Henry Wood Hall too and many thanks to colleagues at the RSNO for their support with this. This is a world class venue and absolutely perfect for the project and this repertoire in particular."
