A former Mayor of Chichester has bequeathed £1,000 to Chichester City Band.

Mrs Jean Le Bourlier-Woods, was also a Vice President of the band and attended many of their concerts.

A band spokesperson told 4BR: "We are very grateful for the generosity shown. A final decision on how the money will be used has not been made but, possibly, new neckwear and music have been suggested."
