Hatfield change for Senior Trophy

Ill health forces Graham O'Connor to step down from Hatfield conducting duties this weekend in Blackpool.

4BR has been informed that due to ill health, Graham O’Connor will not conduct Hatfield Colliery Band in the Senior Trophy at the forthcoming Spring Festival in Blackpool on Saturday.

Band Secretary Margaret Curran told 4BR: "It is with regret that we inform you that owing to further treatment Graham O’Connor is unable to conduct the band on this occasion."

She added: "The band is grateful to Stan Lippeatt who has agreed to step in and we hope to see Graham back in front of the band as soon as possible."
