New Regional Secretary in North of England

Tony Griffiths has taken over from Alan Hope as the new North of England Regional Secretary.

4BR has been informed that Tony Griffiths has taken over the role as North of England Regional Secretary with immediate effect.

Respected

The respected euphonium player and Band Manager of the Jayess Newbiggin Band takes over the role following the retirement of Alan Hope after the recent Area contest in Darlington.

Excellent

Alan told 4BR: "I am delighted that Tony has accepted the role and I am sure he will be an excellent Regional Secretary. I wish him and the rest of the Regional Committee every success for the future."

It was also announced that following the end the organisation’s financial year Tony Ruecroft will also step down as Regional Treasurer.
