Advert: Wessex Tubas

Brand new half instrument covers now available from Wessex Tubas — just in time to stop Whit Friday scratches.

Wessex Tubas

Wessex Tubas has announced that they are to make available leather style half covers for compensated euphoniums and BBb bass (992 & Imperial) as well as from June, covers for EEb bass.

Protect?

These protect the instrument from scratching by buttons or belt buckles, while allowing access to slides, water keys and valves.

They are the ideal addition to any player’s performance set up – and ideal for low brass players with a treasured new instrument to get with the Whit Friday marches coming up!

Military

The covers are very much the same design as used by the British military bands, and have not previously been available for the public to purchase and will fit Besson, York, Yamaha and of course, Wessex tubas.

Although not made with hole for trigger lever on Prestige euphoniums, that can easily amended, whilst there is enough slack to go around the trigger mechanism.

Prices

Prices are from £75 for euphonium half-cover — you can purchase from Wessex at http://www.wessex-tubas.co.uk/accessories/halfcover
