The welcome sight of ‘full house’ signs will be out in force for the popular Buxton Brass Band Festival on the 28th April, after the organisers informed 4BR that they have managed to attract a field of 36 bands for the contest at the famous Pavilion Gardens.
Task
Mark Wilkinson will have the task of separating out the bands in the Third and Fourth Sections, whilst Derek Broadbent will be the man to impress in the Championship/First and Second Sections.
There promises to be plenty of fantastic music making to enjoy with a cornucopia of own choice selections on offer, so why not make it a day out.
