New Cox takes helm at Huddersfield & Ripponden

Michael Cox has been appointed the new MD at Huddersfield & Riponden Band

After several months in which they employed temporary Musical Directors to help them out, Huddersfield & Ripponden Brass has now announced the appointment of a permanent MD in Michael Cox.

Delighted

Michael told 4BR: "I’m delighted to be conducting the band. The aim is to build the profile and together we can achieve success. We are entering a new era for the band and I'm sure it's going to be a positive one."

Ambitious

Band secretary, Alan Jazwinski, added: "We are an ambitious band with a growing youth section, and Michael has already made an impact."
