The Deepcar Band will be celebrating its 25th anniversary this year with the release of a special short film by independent video journalist Russell Cavanagh.

Memorable

Russell, who has also helped the band out on cornet several times over recent years, wanted to give his friends a memorable silver jubilee present.

He told 4BR: "They are a lovely bunch of people and although relatively new to contesting are already picking up awards under MD Lindon Bolt. They are definitely a band to watch out for."

He also added praise for their commitment to ongoing musical education through their very well attended training band.
