Geneva Instruments would like to extend their warmest congratulations to Paul Robinson, principal euphonium player with the Reg Vardy Band, who won the prestigious Maurice Metcalf Award as ‘Best Euphonium’ at the recent North of England Regional Championships in Darlington.
Outstanding
His outstanding personal performance playing a Geneva Symphony Euphonium, of the fearsome euphonium cadenza in ‘Harmony Music’ was noted for its excellence by adjudicator David Read MBE.
This is the second time Paul has won the trophy playing on a Geneva Euphonium, after initially winning the award in 2010.

Reg Vardy number
Paul is amongst a number of players using Geneva instruments within the Reg Vardy Band, and we wish them and the whole band the very best at the National Finals at the Royal Albert Hall later this year.
